Why So Abrupt?

Interruptions, I'm not sure anyone likes them. With complete disregard of your momentum, they can derail you. Make you think twice about your dreams and ambitions. My life has been interrupted completely. I had big plans for myself: to leave North Carolina and attend a big university for Grad School, and eventually settle down in a big city either up north or out west. I had applied to University Kentucky, was interviewed, and it seemed like I was going to get in their Grad Nutrition Program. I didn't get in.

When God chooses someone to change the world for his Glory, he will abruptly interrupt their life - their plans - their dreams. Abrupt - the definition at dictionary.com says, "sudden or unexpected, terminating or changing suddenly". God has suddenly changed my ambitions and dreams, and now that they are his, I find purpose in them. No question about it.

My plans for worldly glory look so pointless and so empty now that God has shown me his plans for my life. The bible says in Jeremiah 29:11 -" 'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the LORD, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.' " While that verse has so much hope, assurance, and ultimate love in it, I can't stand it when people just whip it out to make someone feel better about themselves when they fail.

When you fail at something, it is usually because God is saying wrong direction. My flesh has failed, and now Im putting it on death row. With my flesh out of they way, God can takeover, and show me the direction he wants for my life.

This interruption has abruptly intruded in on my life, and this is my blog to show how God's love has invaded my veins and heart. I hope it can inspire, lead, encourage, convict, and more importantly, raise God to a height were everyone can see Him.

My name is Sina, and God has intruded my life with an interruption opportunity to live for His glory. There's no turning back now!
